Fox Meets Logo

Totally Mind Blanked.. feeling really geometrical.

Wanted to draw a fox... and somehow this came out... might be my logo for the film...

Slight Observations

Installed my first installation. Here it is.

'Seven Letter Word; _ _ _ _ _ _ _' 2011
By Timothy Duong & Scott Blume
Made from found objects

I think we aced it, with positive feedback. So I'm really happy with all the results and the amount of effect (or the lack of it) Scott and I put into it. I really enjoyed the trial & error process to get from A til Z on this project, we talked and talked for at least 1-2 hours a week on what to do on it and it slowly burned down from an ambitious unachievable idea to a solid and minimal polished work (Well in my eyes)

Some behind the scenes shots. (Scott attaching the rope; Lighting)

The Next Day...

Then on Saturday I had a massively Vietnamese day, after David came over for Banh Xeo, we trekked it to Cabramatta where we OD'd on Vietnamese food. David, Jay, Michael, Chris & Andy were there as I toured them throughout the ghettoes and the unusual sights of Cabra, a sight into Vietnamese culture and lifestyles. We then went to 'Time Gone' where the old school arcade machines brought back good memories, from Raiden to David owning on DDR. That was seriously the kicker to end the evening on an awesome note.

Charis' house party shortly ensued, I travelled from Epping to Pymble dressed as a little school boy with a massive samurai sword. It's not your average sight either, getting many stares from North and Eastern suburb teens and getting stopped by a train driver for apparently holding an illegal weapon (He deemed it safe after inspection)

It was a good night and ended with tea back at my house with Sujin and Grace. I couldn't ask for a better day :)

*Drawing Mode ON*

Been on a roll since I started listening to Raekwon. Been bumping Cuban Linx Vol. 2 and Shaolin VS Wu-Tang. Dope shit!

Self Portraits

I don't often do them, this I was so bored and tired of creating a storyboard and script I did some procrastination. I think it's pretty accurate.

Majorly Done!

I'm finally done! It's currently at my Auntie's house to be framed. Fuck yeah!

Other than that, my diet of Fruit Loops has gone terribly wrong, David Lee's wise predictions have come true. My stomach hurts, I'm having constant headaches and my shit is really, really green.

It's my 299th post so I'll celebrate it on the next post. And just a small rant. Fuck facebook and it's photos, that shit is haunting especially when your friend's are photographers and you like to do stupid shit. I love it all though :)

I'm doing a few jobs here and there finally. It's been a while since I've opened up the Adobe suites (That's not lightroom) to do something productive. It makes me warm inside when I make a nice layout. Nothing beats it (Besides riding bicycles)

Got in touch with some old friends, got a few new things to do. Shit this week is quite exciting

Bombo

Picked up this Bombo Designer stool like 100 metres from my house, it's in perfect working condition. A little rust that elbow grease can't remove.

Time & Space

New Icon Design

I've been going through several different Twitter applications that run on Mac, from Nambu to Twitteriffic and now Tweetie, all had their pros/cons but it turns out Tweetie is the best for me in terms of functionality and visuals.

I also added the Adium icon prior to actually getting Tweetie so I thought that in my dock there's 3 chat clients, Tweetie, Adium and Skype, since 2 of them look the same why not 3? So now I made my own Skype icon to match the others. I may edit the arrow tab on the icon so it's in the middle but that can be another day.

Made in Photoshop, 20 minutes.

Put Your Arms Around Me

There's not often a song really catches my attention that isn't already on my library playlist... that plays on the radio. Now I was driving to my sister's work which is literally a 2-3 minute drive depending on whether or not you get the single set of lights or not, anyway this song comes on and it's like my heart is icecream on a warm summers day... (today was ridiculously cold, ~15'c) and so I sat in the car listening to the sweetness of it.

Here is the song:

I've also been sketching here and there, here's a little break down of images...

Scene one of my major work processed in Adobe Illustrator, WIP.

Berry Digital Media logo created for a client. WIP also. It's currently the "WEB2.0" look :P

Then I tried to drew myself if I was an attractive person... (I wish T^T) it's based on the illustrations of David M Buisan. I tried to copy the first figure (Top right) but failed miserably.

Body & Flow

I have come to terms about my job of 6 years. I like it. Shit pay, but I like the job. It makes me smell bad, but I like the atmosphere and people. I wouldn't do it more than once or twice a week but it's a change :3 I'm not to proud but I can finally not feel so bad when I do mention it.

I've also worked on this poster for about 4-5 hours. Created Logo, stock from DA. I hope I get the position ^__^
